Red sky at night... photographer's delight. This eerily beautiful shot of a red and orange-tinged sky above Hadrian's Wall was taken by 17-year-old self-taught photographer Will Nicholls. The shot of Steel Rigg was taken at a section of the wall in Hexham, Northumberland. The colour of the sky is caused by light pollution. Keen photographer Will won Young British Wildlife Photographer of the Year at the age of 14 and, despite still being in his teens, has gone on to win a wealth of other accolades for his photography.
