Bollywood lyrics that compare love to bizarre things like bangles and chillies
'Mohabbat hai mirchi': This item number from Zayed Khan starrer 'Chura Liya Hai Tumne' draws a comparison between love and chillies! Now, that's something, right? The lyricist of this very 'creative' song is trying to say that love isn't all that easy to stomach and is certainly not for everyone. We can totally see late music director Mohammed Rafi facepalming somewhere in his afterlife.
'Saree Ke Fall Sa Kabhie Match Kiya Re': We've all heard this song from Shahid Kapoor-starrer 'R...Rajkumar' more than we needed to – it plays on the radio like 50 times a day. Obviously, the lyrics of the song have come out of nowhere. Seriously, why would anybody compare the task of matching a saree with its fall to compatibility? The hero sings to the heroine that she matches his heart to her's like a saree border to a saree sometimes and then there are other instances where she just let's it go. Either the lyrics are bizarre, or we're not that poetic.
'Ishq kameena': This song from 'Shakti' is to blame for all those other songs that used cuss words to describe what love is. 'Karde Mushkil Jeena Ishq Kameena' basically means that falling in love makes one's life miserable. We don't know if that's true, but what we know is that this song definitely made our lives miserable for a long long time.
