Us ka chehra bhi sunata hai kahani us ki,
Chahti hoon ke sunoon us se zubaani us ki,
Woh sitam'gar hai to ab us se shikayat kesi,
Aur sitam karna bhi aadat hai purani us ki,
Besh-qeemat hai yeh moti se meri palkon per,
Chand aansu hain mere pass nishani us ki,
Us jafaa-kaar ko maloom nahin woh kya hai,
Be-murawat ko hai tasveer dikhani us ki,
Aik woh hai nazar andaaz kare hai mujh ko,
Aik mein hoon ke dil-o-jaan se deewani us ki,
Tum ko ulfat hai Qamar us se to ab keh dena,
Samne sab ke sunaa dena kahani us ki..
